Are Cartridges Detectable?

Vaping. Everyone’s doing it, and it seems so sleek and sophisticated. However, don’t let a vaporizer fool you — it may seem “lighter” than smoking, but it can still make you light up a marijuana drug test. It all depends on what kind of  oil you’re vaping (plus how long it’s been since you vaped, of course, and a few other factors related to the body’s natural  detox). Here is what you need to know:

How do people vape ?

First, let us talk about the difference in smoking and vaping. Smoking involves combustion and requires the user to inhale/exhale smoke. Vaping, however, requires no combustion. The vaporizer heats the liquid to a boiling point in order to turn it into vapor, and that is the substance that is inhaled/exhaled. And like we mentioned above, vapor seems much lighter than smoke — but it can still infiltrate you, depending on the concentrate of the  oil or flower that you’re vaping.

More and more people are turning to vaping for its convenience, ease of use, and portability. In addition, vaping oil is discreet — you can be out in public with your vape pen, and whatever is in it is your little secret.  In terms of devices, there are many options. There are pre-loaded oil vape cartridges, -specific vape pens, and even disposable wax pens. Will Vaping Get Me High?

Yes—but it all depends on the amount of in whatever you’re vaping. According to Pot Guide, “the potency of vape cartridges is comparable to flower and sometimes contains double or even triple the content. While flower usually tops out below 30%, vape cartridges may boast 70%-95% potency.”  There are so many options when it comes to buying vape, but you should be able to talk to whoever is selling it to you to learn more about the associated high. For example, some cannabis e-juices are made more for aches and pains and do not have psychoactive effects. An easy rule of thumb to follow: if it made you feel high, it can absolutely be detected on a drug test. The only way you can feel high is from entering the body, which is the compound that a drug panel screens for. Consider undergoing a detox if you have recently vaped and have to face a marijuana drug test.

What’s the difference in and OIL EXTRACT?

A quick and easy way to distinguish OIL EXTRACT and is to know that gets you high, but OIL EXTRACT does not. This is worth pointing out in terms of vaping because OIL EXTRACT oil is everywhere these days, and you will be sad if you buy some with the intent of getting high. OIL EXTRACT oil is primarily used for pain management and anxiety/depression relief — it has no psychoactive properties. If you are vaping ONLY OIL EXTRACT, then there is no need for a detox and you do not have to worry about passing your drug test. However, if the substance you are using contains any, then you will need to be cognizant that it could cause you to fail your marijuana drug test.
